Deposit machine for reuse

The trade magazine for bakers, back.intern, reports on the CircleCube in its issue 6/2026 (page 20, section Sustainability). The article describes how guests put a reusable cup or bowl into the machine, how a camera with AI recognition checks that the item belongs to a connected reuse system, and how the deposit is paid out, as a receipt, in coins or to a card, depending on the setup.

The article also covers where the machine fits: so far mostly in communal catering, but also for bakeries at central locations. Because of the AI, the machines can be trained on containers from all manufacturers. Our partner koziol presented the CircleCube at Internorga.
